Last year my running was filled with both a high (completed the 2017 Ottawa Marathon) followed by an immense low (barely running for the rest of the year.) As a result, I’m coming into 2018 in pretty poor running shape. I’m hoping to bounce back quickly, and will be running the 2018 Richmond Road race to give myself a nice benchmark to start the year with.
I ran the race last year and placed first in the Men’s 20-29 division with a time of 00:26:22. I hope to beat that time this year, but considering I haven’t been training much in the last 6 months, I wouldn’t be surprised if I fall short.
I’ll have a follow-up after the race, but in the meantime I figured I would share this photo from last year!
